These Cranberries double as a dessert!

I buy so many bags of fresh Cranberry’s while they are available at the market and freeze them. They are seasonal and you can’t get fresh Cranberry’s in the spring or summer. That’s when having bags of frozen Cranberries comes in handy. They can stay in your freezer for up to 9 months! I serve fresh Cranberry’s all year long and put them in so many recipes.

WAYS TO INCORPORATE CRANBERRIES INTO YOUR DIET

Add dried Cranberries to your oatmeal, smoothies, salads,

cereal, soups, pasta and chicken and fish dishes, salads and baked goods! Drinking cranberry juice is good for your insides and it’s anti-inflammatory components help the body to heal.

Make a batch of Cranberry sauce and use it over Greek Yogurt, Frozen Yogurt, and in between sandwiches, like turkey or chicken!

When I made this recipe for the first time I thought not only would this recipe work well with the Thanksgiving meal but also could double as a dessert.

As part of the dessert I served the cranberry sauce with Frozen Yogurt and drizzled a Balsamic Glaze over the top. It tasted so light and refreshing especially after eating such big meal.

If you want to indulge, and it’s okay every once in a while you can use peppermint or French Vanilla ice cream, peach, orange, or mango sorbet!
