One of my favorite things about this DIY is that you can custom design it for any season or holiday. With Halloween just around the corner I wanted to make a wreath from terra cotta pots that is spooktacular!
- (1) 18″ inch Grape Vine Wreath
- 1 roll of Burlap Ribbon
- Hot glue Gun
- Wire Cutters
- 3-4 bags of Ashland Moss Roll
- 1 roll of Floral Wire
- 6 Small 2 1/2″ Terracotta Pots
- 6 Medium 4″ Terracotta Pots
- 6-8 Fake Succulents
- 1 -2 bags of Plastic Spiders
- 2-3 Plastic Baby Pumpkins
- 1-2 bags of plastic bones and hands
- 1-2 bundles of Twigs
- 1-2 small skulls
First you will want to wrap & hot glue the burlap around the wreath
Next, plan out the placement of your medium sized Tarra Cotta pots.
After you have decided, secure them in place by pulling the wire through the small hole at the bottom of the pots and twist the wires together at the back of the wreath.
Now look at the wreath for empty space and place the smaller Tarra Cotta pots randomly through out and secure them the same way as your did the larger pots.
After all the pots are secured you will want to fill in the empty spaces that are still left with moss. Hot glue the moss to the wreath.
Once the moss is attached, you can start filling the pots with the fake succulents. This is where you can get as creative as your want. The placement is up to you.
Add Halloween decorations all around the wreath. Securing each one with hot glue.
Hang on your door to welcome trick or tweeters, I mean treaters!
How will you decorate this Halloween?
