1/2 cup of brown sugar
4 tbs of unsalted butter
2 tbs corn syrup or maple syrup
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp baking soda

2. 3 tablespoons in of canola oil

4. Add 1/3 cup of kernels, cover with lid and swirl until popped

5. Once kernels are popped remove from heat, pour in bowl and season with salt

To Make Caramel:

3. Remove from heat, whisk in baking soda and pour over popped corn spread on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes until golden and shiny (toss popcorn about halfway through)
Additional fun options to jazz up your popcorn:

• Pretzel dust (whizz pretzels in a blender or coffee grinder)
